A typical dinner

Tonight we had salad and grilled cheese sandwiches. Madeline ate the cheese out of hers and then nibbled on the bread.

She also enjoyed the spoon I had used to made and serve our honey mustard vinaigrette dressing.

And we had our usual sparkling dinnertime conversation:

Madeline was just too active today for us to get any good pictures. This one from breakfast turned out best of the bunch:

Aside from breakfast, Madeline and I went to the playground where she played for hours with Ilan, one of her daycare friends.  We visited two more open houses, with Summer too today.  We went to the grocery store.  We played with Madeline's toys inside.  We sat on the front step and admired passing dogs.  Then came dinner, bathtime, and, finally, bedtime.

Dancing, strawberries, and snails

This morning Madeline danced and ate strawberries.




Then Madeline and I went off on an adventure during the day while Summer did some work.  We drove around while she napped, we had lunch at Chipotle, we went to an open house, and we visited the Save the Bay center.  There, Madeline found something she really likes ...

... snails!

Snails are now maybe her most favorite thing ever.

Houses

This evening we visited five houses. This one had a great yard ...

... but a too-bizarre interior.  Madeline was a trooper despite the showings' lasting until almost 7 -- good little kiddo.
