Eight months!

Madeline is two-thirds of a year old!

We tried to do the usual chair pictures, but Madeline was way too energetic. So they all turned out blurry ...

... or included Summer's hand as she tried to stop Madeline from toppling out of the chair ...

... or depicted general disorder.

So instead, I took a picture of Madeline examining our tomato-plant-that-won't-die and wearing her adorable hat.

This evening, Madeline had a special treat, as she got to see her friends Rainy (Ceci's dog) and Alexander. Madeline crawled after Rainy, who remained wary. She had better luck with Alexander; he and Heiða helped her walk, and she responded with raucous laughter!
