Today disappeared. Summer spent a few hours in lab, and I found it impossible to do much of anything other than actively tend to our daughter during that time. Madeline took two bottles and required three changes. I kept myself going with delicious cookies I'd baked the other night. The experience was both pleasant and inexplicably taxing; we bonded but I felt spent more or less for the rest of the day. (Or maybe there's another explanation: we ran out of coffee yesterday.) So instead of composing an elaborate post, I now present three briefly-captioned pictures.
