No blog post yesterday, oh no! Summer says she had some trouble getting good pictures; I've selected this one to represent the day (though I don't really know whether it's representative -- I was at work).

Summer says it was mostly just a typical day -- tummy time, naps, a short walk, you know the drill. Of course, everything was much more fun when I arrived home from work. Except that Madeline looks like she was a bit perturbed by something or other: a bellwether of a fussy evening.

Today, on the other hand, was full of adventure! We did some tummy time outside (which Madeline did not enjoy at all).

We appreciated the swing's animal-themed mobile.

We visited Summer at lab.

We had some (measured) success with the new bottles.

And, both before and after Summer got home, the sky baby game provoked serious smiles.

Now we're trying to implement a better-defined bed time. So far Madeline says (as she often does) that she'd rather stay up late like dad than go to sleep at a reasonable hour like mom. We'll see...
