Little pumpkin

Baby had a fun Saturday. It started off with sweet potato for breakfast.

Next on the agenda was hide-and-seek with Petey.

Then came fun with toys while Summer and I got ready for an expedition.

Where were we going?

To the Rhode Island Seafood Festival! When she woke up from a stroller-induced nap, baby found the seafood-seeking hordes somewhat overwhelming.

Nevertheless, she waited with us in line for lobster rolls and raw oysters and clams, and she munched on crackers while we devoured our sea creatures in India Point Park.

On the walk back up from the park, we stopped by The Edge for a caffeine fix. Our barista gave baby, decked out in her pumpkin gear, a baby-size pumpkin muffin to munch.

We enjoyed the crisp, sunny day for awhile, with our old apartment in the background.

Baby was surprisingly excited by the experience.

The rest of the day passed in a flash, and that was that.
