Madeline enjoyed the brook ...
... and the daisy-flecked meadows ...
... and the path through the woods, with plenty of good spots for digging with sticks.
We switched off among Madeline's riding in my left arm, our walking together holding hands, and her rambling about untethered -- a fun sight.
On the way home we stopped off for some fruit and veggies.
Tonight was bath night; after her bath, Madeline ran off, announcing "duck! duck!"
And then came bed time.
