Easter Eve

Madeline still seems a little under the weather -- snotty and not quite as chipper as usual -- but she had her happy moments today, too.  For example, this morning she tried to jump while Petey looked on from a box behind her.

No luck yet...

Then Summer met some friends for brunch and Madeline and I played in the yard.

I introduced her to forsythia, and we discovered that last year's raspberry bush is coming back on its own.

In the afternoon, we ran errands.

We paused between errands for a treat.  I shared my Awful Awful with her -- her first taste of a Rhode Island staple.  She thought it was awful good.

Our errands allowed us to put the following together.  She'll discover it tomorrow morning.
