... because Madeline started at a new school today. She was ready to go!
And, sure enough, she had a great day! When we dropped her off this morning, she immediately made for a rocking/bouncy cow/zebra and climbed aboard. We received word midday that she was still happily playing. And friend Meredith let me know that when she picked up her son James (it was his first day too), Madeline was back on the rocking/bouncy cow/zebra sproinging away. So it sounds like Madeline had a happy day with friends old and new.
Then at home this evening she helped me make dinner ...
... took a bath, and went to bed.
