Sick! I'm sick!

Yesterday Madeline had a fever ("Sick!  I'm sick!"), so daycare sent her home a little early.  She was a little subdued but still happy.  She spent her time playing with stickers ...

... and Petey.

Today the fever was gone, but Madeline had to stay home anyway.

Summer stayed home with her, and by all accounts they had a fun day.  Madeline was particularly excited when they took Monroe out to frolic (turtle-style) in the yard.

Then I came home and Summer headed out for an event. Madeline and I played in the yard a bit ...

... then came dinner and a bath, and finally Madeline got in some serious farm-playing before bed.
