Pretty nice out

It was pretty nice out after work today, so we played in the yard.  Madeline stared at the birds chattering and flitting around a big, bare tree in a nearby lot.  She approved of the spectacle.

We migrated to the front yard, where Madeline admired a brittle oak leaf.

Sporting Madeline's hat, Summer helped her around to the car ...

... where we proceeded to the brand-new sushi & Thai place at Wayland Square, Lim's.  After dinner it was a little chillier, so Madeline borrowed my hat.

Then it was home and to bed for Madeline, who fell asleep with minimal parental assistance -- our recent efforts on that front (knock on wood) seem to be paying off!
