Today Madeline happily tried to crawl.
Until she became puzzled by her continued tendency to move backward rather than forward.
So she rolled onto her back and took a break.
After another good day at daycare, she was ready to try some more. She hoisted herself up on all fours and rocked back and forth, looking intense.
Finally she'd had enough attempted crawling, so we tried assisted standing instead. She's getting pretty steady.
And now, weekend!
