Christmastime is here

Perhaps it's our change in routine, but Madeline always seems to know it's weekend and ramps up her energy level accordingly.

This morning she was especially interested in our advent calendar. I read her what was behind each of the first three doors.

She was happy.

This afternoon, she met friend (and movie star / theater star / musician ) Heather and the rest of The Spring Standards (they're playing a show in Portsmouth tonight). She was kind of sleepy, though, and took a nap as soon as we got home.

Then we listened to some Christmas carols. And tomorrow we very well might look for a Christmas tree!

Oh, I love that baby...and her parents too. I get such a kick out of her pointing...look at that finger! And when she was here she was always waving...and a definite part of the "party". We will miss you (as always) at Xmas and know that you are being surrounded by love out in OR ... so much love...so many people. We are all very lucky. xoxoxoxo N
